💦 On a personal note, it’s been a whirlwind of a month with barely any time at home. It all started in Seattle, where my beloved Fckball was fcked so hard it split—yes, really. I wrote all about it in my newsletter. From there, I headed to the Bay Area, where I experienced the concert of a lifetime: Nick Cave, absolutely at the peak of his powers. I’ve been a fan since my teens and have seen him live a few times, but this was on another level.

The Writing With Mermaids retreat in Berkeley was equally unforgettable—soul-nourishing, deeply inspiring, and full of wildly talented writers. We laughed, we wept. I left feeling cracked open in the best way. I can’t wait to host the next one at my home in Las Vegas!
